Quick chalk pastel drawing. Who doesn't love a plump little English robin? I know there's been a little bit of a dry spell here in the way of new work, BUT! I have good news! I'm almost done with my first oil painting! I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that as a self-proclaimed artist, I've never completed an oil. I'm pretty impatient, though, and generally if it can't be started and finished in under four hours I'm not interested. I'm loving oils, but it's taking forever. I started it probably 2-3 months ago and have only gotten through 3 sessions because the stuff takes so long to dry, but it's coming along really well and will hopefully be done after one more.
